    This ethos has been Mad About Sucre's cornerstone commitment since we welcomed our first guests on 8 February 2015. Over the past five years, we have served up culinary and confection offerings that are refined in taste, bursting with natural goodness and smooth-clean flavors while staying true to our conviction of using only finely-curated natural ingredients, organic flours, reduced sweetness, with no preservatives, pre-mixes and no artificial ingredients added.

     

    We have since developed into a destination for a memorable all-encompassing hospitality experience with comforting food, bio-dynamic wines, bespoke cocktails and exceptional desserts, all under one roof.

     

    With tremendous support from our guests, the leadership of the co-founders and the commitment to excellence by the team, we have been recognized as Singapore's Best Patisserie and Best Bakery (2015, 2017, 2018, 2019), one of Singapore's Top Restaurants (2017, 2018, 2019,2020), and one of Singapore's Top 3 French Restaurants.

     

    Mad About Sucre is established by our co-founders, James and Eric. Prior to their stints as restaurateurs, they were C-suite executives in marketing, strategy, pre-opening and operations for a combined of more than 15 years. After having accumulated a combined 50 years of corporate experiences in fashion, consultancy, retail, FMCG and hospitality in well-known international conglomerates, they conceptualized Mad About Sucre in 2014 to bring forth their vision of a naturalist lifestyle that champions clean eating. Having since built and established Mad About Sucre, James and Eric are exploring new opportunities to introduced clean eating to more people around the world.

     

    Kelvin heads the Operations and manages all aspects of Mad About Sucre's front-line operations. Prior to joining Mad About Sucre in 2015, Kelvin was a trained chef who worked in 2 fine-dining establishments in Singapore. Kelvin leads the team to create memorable hospitablity experience that is befitting to our guests. Just as how we would treat our family members and loved ones.

     

    The team at Mad About Sucre ollectivelty executes the vision of the co-founders by creating a menu based on seasonal offerings of natural ingredients blessed by natural, without regard to fluff or trends. The team bring forth the ethos of Mad About Sucre by "cooking, baking and serving our guests, as if we are doing do for our family members and our loved ones''.

    We, at Mad About Sucre, pride ourselves with a refreshing take to culinary in the market(s) we operate in.

     

    At Mad About Sucre, we believe and are passionate about cooking and baking as if we are doing so for our loved ones; we provide hospitality like how we do at our own home parties and gatherings. We do not follow trends and fads as we create our menu and experiences with natural ingredients bestowed upon us by Nature each season.

     

    Hence, ‘clean ingredients’, ‘scratch cooking’, ‘baking with love’, ‘passionate hosting’ are not empty talks, but our way of life here. These values form the cornerstones of our Operations, of how we live our brand, how we run our service and how we wish to collaborate towards the greater good of changing a palate a day, towards clean eating with reduced sweetness, with natural ingredients, without preservatives and artificial additives.

    Possess a discreet, professional, well-groomed disposition with strong interpersonal skills

     

    Highly intuitive and able to anticipate and address guests’ unspoken needs. Possess a ‘well-being oriented’ mindset with an eye for quality and detail so as to create inspiring and memorable moments for our guests.

     

    Possesses initiative and is driven and energetic with consistency in mannerism and service etiquette in a dynamic environment.

     

    Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to speak other languages is an advantage.

     

    Works well under pressure and is able to analyze and resolve problems while exercising good judgment.

     

    Embraces and responds to change effectively.

     

    Strives to attain the brand’s standard operating procedures while exceeding Quality standards set by the Company.
